About

The basic concept provides for a complete floor plate to be opened in the middle of the building to guarantee sufficient light. A long core containing all permanent facilities has been positioned against the dividing wall on each floor. The surrounding area remains open and can be used as a flexible office landscape.

The Kendall in Antwerp redefines urban living, a seamless blend of historic charm and modern innovation.

The existing roof volume will be replaced by a new, transparent steel structure. Its rhythm and regularity refer to the rigid brick architecture of the old warehouse itself. As a result, the new roof is both an extension and opposite of the existing building. Together, both parts form a new unit.
